Candidates can now reach us by voice, inside WhatsApp

We switched on WhatsApp calling across our recruiting desks. A candidate can ask us to call, and a recruiter rings them from inside our own platform.

Written messages work well until they do not. A question about a shift pattern, a document that is hard to describe, a candidate who reads slowly in their third language — some things are simply faster spoken.

We have switched on WhatsApp calling across our recruiting desks. Three things about how it works are worth stating plainly.

Permission comes first. We ask before we call, inside WhatsApp. Declining is a normal answer and it has no effect on your application.

No personal numbers. Recruiters call from inside our platform, on the company number. That protects the recruiter and it means you always know who is calling.

Everything is on the file. Each call is logged against your record, so when a colleague picks up your case they can see what was already discussed and you do not repeat yourself.
