Questions & answers
The questions we get asked every day.
The honest versions, including the answers people would rather we softened. If yours is not here, ask us on WhatsApp — a person replies.
For candidates
Working in Germany.
What does it cost me to be placed?
Nothing. Not a registration fee, not a placement fee, not a document fee, and nothing deducted from your first payslip. German law puts the cost on the employer who hires you, and we follow it. If any agency asks you for money to find you a job in Germany, that alone is your answer about them.
Do I need to speak German?
It depends on the role, and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at. Warehouse, logistics and production work often runs with little or no German. Care roles need B2 and a certificate, because it is a patient-safety requirement. Hospitality sits in between. We would rather place you somewhere you can actually work than sell you a role you cannot hold.
I am an EU citizen — do I need a visa?
No. As an EU citizen you may work in Germany without a visa or a work permit; we verify your papers and you can start as soon as an employer says yes. Outside the EU you do need a visa, and our own visa team runs that process with the authorities together with our migration partner.
Which documents do you need from me?
A passport or ID to begin with. After that it depends on the role: qualification certificates, a work permit or residence title if you hold one, and for care roles the recognition paperwork (Anerkennung). We ask once, store it against your file, and never ask you for the same page twice.
How long until I actually start work?
For an EU candidate with documents in order, weeks rather than months — the limit is usually the employer’s start date, not us. Where a visa or a recognition procedure is involved, plan in months; the authorities set that pace and nobody can honestly promise otherwise. We tell you which of the two you are in on the first call.
How does applying actually work?
You answer the eligibility questions for the specific role — two minutes — and the system checks them against that job immediately, so a clear no arrives in minutes instead of six weeks of silence. If it fits, the conversation continues on WhatsApp in your own language with a named recruiter who is responsible for you.
Do you help with accommodation and registration?
Yes. Housing, the trip itself and the first appointments — Anmeldung, bank account, health insurance — are coordinated as part of the placement, not left to you to work out after you land. What exactly is covered depends on the employer, and we put it in writing before you agree to anything.
What happens to my data?
Your profile goes to an employer only for a role you have agreed to, never to a list of companies speculatively. Your phone number is not visible to the whole company — the recruiter responsible for you sees it. You can ask us to delete everything at any time. The details are in our privacy notice.
For employers
Hiring through us.
How fast can you actually supply staff?
For roles our desks already recruit for, a first shortlist in about 48 hours — those candidates are already screened and document-verified. For a specialist role we recruit to order, which takes weeks. We will tell you which of the two you are dealing with on the first call, not after a month of silence.
Who employs the person you place?
You do. We are a Personalvermittler: we find, screen and prepare the candidate, and the employment contract is between them and your company. That keeps the relationship — and the loyalty — with you from day one.
Are candidates screened before we see them?
Yes. Every profile you receive has been through eligibility checks for that specific role — age, certificates, permit status, language level — and had identity and qualification documents collected. We do not forward CVs we have not read.
Who handles visas and recognition?
We do. Our own visa team runs the process with the authorities, together with our migration partner, and diploma recognition is arranged before a start date is agreed. It does not come back to your HR department.
What if someone does not work out?
You tell us, and we agree what happens next before you ever commit. Replacement terms are set out in your individual placement agreement, in writing — our standard AGB do not contain a blanket guarantee, and we would rather show you the clause than promise one verbally.
Which sectors and regions?
Logistics and warehouse, care, hospitality, industrial production and apprenticeships, across Germany from our Hamburg and Karlsruhe offices. Candidates come from 15+ European countries.
